VIDEO: Illegal Smuggling, Semi Trucks and Interstates, What could go wrong?

On Monday the Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson released an insane video of a police chase on Highway 35 in La Salle County after troopers attempted to pull over a bobtailing semi for a traffic violation.

In the video, the truck driver, Eduardo Aradas, of Florida ran from the officers in a white semi, at times running against traffic at speeds of up to 85 miles per hour. According to TX DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez, the trucker ended up losing control of the truck and came to a stop in some thick brush.

This is when it got interesting. As you watch the video you see more than a dozen adult males run from the smoking truck. Officers commanded what turned out to be 12 illegal immigrants to get on the ground. The driver, Aradas tried to avoid capture by hiding in some brush, but he was quickly apprehended. He now faces criminal charges for smuggling and evading arrest.
